Calling all UPA Members

We need to refresh our pool of Voting Delegates
Please help us by nominating delegates in your Region

Thank you for your continuing support as a Member of the United Protestant Association (UPA). Our purpose as always is to offer care of the highest possible standard consistent with UPA’s Christian commitment and expectations of society. One of our aims in 2025 is to extend that care to ever greater numbers in the community.

We are preparing for 2025’s upcoming items of business for UPA Members, which includes attending to some essential housekeeping. In preparation for 2025’s general meetings, we need to refresh our pool of Voting Delegates.

UPA’s current Constitution provides that only Voting Delegates are entitled to vote at a general meeting of UPA (Clause 6.2) and for the purposes of the Constitution, Voting Delegates comprise:

(a) Members of the UPA Board of Directors ; and
(b) Up to 10 delegates per Region, elected by Members of UPA in accordance with clause 6.7 (j) of the    Constitution (but excluding Staff members of UPA); and
(c) The Regional Manager of each Region

We need you to nominate yourself or others as Voting Delegates in your Region.

As Voting Delegate you can attend and vote at UPA general meetings, be they the Annual General Meeting or other (extraordinary) general meetings.

The Voting Delegates will be ratified at the next general meeting.
