UPA's Woodlands Place located at Wallsend, Newcastle is a 30 unit retirement village.

Woodlands Place is conveniently located just off Lake Road, Wallsend yet has a peaceful country village atmosphere. The many pathways that weave through the village allow residents to have a quiet stroll and enjoy the landscaped grounds and the tranquility of their surrounds.

With 30 self-care units, Woodlands Place is currently UPA’s largest retirement village in the Hunter.  It is a popular choice for those wanting to maintain an independent lifestyle whilst living in a close-knit community with emergency and maintenance assistance close at hand.

Woodlands Place has a large centrally-located communal activity area and function room, which is used for meetings, social gatherings and private functions for residents and their families. Our residents enjoy indoor bowls, darts, pool/snooker and many other activities. Two-course lunches cooked onsite are available on request. There is also a heated swimming pool alongside the historic Woodlands House, available for use by residents and their families.
