Rathgar Lodge is a spacious, modern facility nestled on the banks of the Clarence River in the quaint town of Ulmarra near Grafton. It enjoys a peaceful rural outlook, but is only a short drive away from major shopping centres and amenities.

Rathgar Lodge is a fully accredited residential aged care facility comprised of 20 generously sized rooms, complete with ensuite and emergency call bell facilities.  The purpose-built, fully secure 12-bed Dementia Specific Care Unit offers the very best of care and security.

Rathgar’s pleasant surrounds have been carefully designed to ensure living and dining areas are restful and functional. A private secure courtyard with picturesque gardens provides a relaxing haven for residents.

Rathgar Self-Care Units

Rathgar Self-Care units are located within the Rathgar complex. Self-care units offer an alternative to those retirees looking to cut down on household chores but not requiring higher levels of care. There are three, two-bedroom units designed to facilitate independent living at any age, featuring no steps, on-site emergency call system and a spacious community centre. Each self-care unit has a lock-up garage with internal access to the unit. Meals can be provided to self-care residents at a nominal charge, and residents are actively encouraged to participate in activities and outings. There is a regular bus service to major nearby shopping centres and facilities.
