Child CareOur Youth CareYouth Care UPA, is an out-of-home care service for children and young persons which commenced in 1997 following the closure of Sunnylands Childrens Home. Click here for more information. Former Children in CareIn all, there were thirteen homes established across the state
between 1941 (Rathgar) and 1958 (Murray Vale). Most were closed
between the late ‘70’s and early ‘80’s,
with the Sunnylands and Orange District residential programmes
eventually being phased out by 1997. |
