Heiden Park Lodge - Assisted living & Dementia Specific

Heiden Park Lodge is set in 1.5 hectares of landscaped gardens in Carramar, centrally located between Fairfield and Cabramatta and is 22 kms south west of the Sydney CBD.

Carramar railway station is located just 1 km from the Lodge and Fairfield railway station can be accessed by bus or car. The bus stop is located just outside the Lodge to take you to Fairfield Shopping Centre which hosts three main shopping centres, Neeta City, Fairfield Forum and Fairfield Chase as well as hundreds of speciality shops and quality dining and entertainment facilities including cinemas.

Cabramatta is located nearby where you can be tempted by a vast array of asian restaurants, supermarkets and specialty stores. Here you will find quality fabrics, clothing, jewellery, electrical goods and many other exciting specialities!

Major transport corridors are The Horsley Drive, Woodville Road, Hume Highway, M4 and M5. Fairfield, Parramatta, Liverpool, Cabramatta and Blacktown are all within 20 minutes drive of the Lodge or can be accessed by way of bus or train from Fairfield.

At Heiden Park Lodge there are a range of social programmes and activities available as well as spacious lounge areas, several outdoor courtyards, a well-stocked library, a craft and games room and other recreational areas. There is also a courtesy bus from Heiden Park Lodge to Cabravale Diggers and return where you can enjoy a meal, drinks and entertainment offered by the club.

Residents are free to take part in these activities to whatever degree they desire. They may choose to enjoy the peace and privacy of their own apartment, or step outside into the warm and caring community atmosphere. The choice is very much up to them. The only important thing is that they enjoy their life to the full.

Assisted Living (Hostel) – Main Wing & Goff Wing
This is an alternate choice of accommodation for people who need minimal assistance but do not require full-time nursing support. Heiden Park Lodge provides the benefit of companionship and the security of knowing someone is always available to help. The emphasis at Heiden Park Lodge is to provide a home-like environment, with people who really care for your needs.

Resident rooms are spacious single rooms with lots of natural light and all have an ensuite bathroom. All rooms have emergency call buttons provided in bedrooms and bathrooms ensuring that assistance is on hand 24 hours a day. Residents are encouraged to bring momentos from home and display them in their room to assist in settling in.

In consultation with our nutritionist our team prepares well-balanced, healthy and appetising meals. Special dietary needs are easily accommodated.

The activity program is carefully designed to meet the recreational, spiritual and cultural needs of each resident. It is up to the resident if they wish to participate. There is always something happening and family and friends are welcome to join in.

Our Goff Wing is primarily for our Asian residents and the indoor areas are carefully decorated within that culture extending to the outdoor area with the pergola, landscaped gardens, pond and water features in the Asian theme. The Goff Wing have their own dining and lounge areas with in-house Asian cooking.

Dementia Specific – Bland Wing & Yeoh Wing
For those requiring extra care, Heiden Park offers a dementia wing with care for up to 25 residents. The dementia wings provide a stimulating yet secure environment for those residents requiring such specialised care. The care staff are specially trained to ensure that resident safety is maximised without compromising their enjoyment of life and are on duty 24 hours a day.

The Dementia Wings have a central dining area and 2 lounge areas. There are also 2 enclosed outdoor areas where residents can sit and enjoy the landscaped gardens.

The dementia wing offers a safe environment and peace of mind, as both the facility and the surrounding grounds are fully secured with keypad entry and exit.
