The UPA CACP service has been caring for the elderly in the beautiful Tweed Shire since 1995 By providing a wide range of services and innovative programs the CACP service is ensuring elderly members of the community are able to stay in their own homes for as long as possible.
The dedicated and fully trained staff provide care and assistance of the highest standard, and a CACP quality officer regularly visits clients in their own homes to guarantee this level of care.

Community Aged Care Program:
The community aged care program has been designed to provide services to individual
clients in their homes.
Packages of community services are provided by personal
care assistants to frail older persons who qualify for Hostel admission, but
who prefer to remain at home. Clients are then able to receive the same level
of care available in a residential care facility without leaving their home.
Prospective clients will need to be assessed as requiring a Hostel level of care.
Veteran’s Home Care Program:
Veteran’s Home Care is a Department of Veterans’ Affairs program that helps veterans and war widows/widowers with low care needs to remain in their own homes for longer.
This program is provided through the CACP service and provides domestic assistance, personal care and respite care to eligible clients.
