Rathgar Self Care

Rathgar Lodge self care units are located within the Rathgar Lodge complex. Situated in the quaint town of Ulmarra near Grafton and nestled on the banks of the Clarence River, the units enjoy a peaceful rural outlook, whilst being only a short drive from major shopping centres and facilities.  Self care units offer an alternative to those retirees not quite ready for Hostel care, but wishing to retain their independence whilst remaining within close proximity of assistance.

Self Care Units:
Rathgar Lodge has four, two bedroom units designed to facilitate ease of living for any age, featuring no steps, on-site emergency call system, large power and light switches, lever action tap fittings and a large community centre. Each self care unit has a lock-up garage with internal access to the unit.

Meals can be provided to self care residents at a nominal charge if required, and self care residents are actively encouraged to participate in all activities and outings organised for the Hostel residents. There is a regular bus service to major shopping centres and facilities nearby.
