Transport directly available to Wallsend Plaza shopping centre and the main street of Wallsend, Stockland Glendale shopping centre, Elermore Vale Shopping Village and also to Stockland Jesmond shopping complex.

Bus available to our major hospital – the John Hunter Hospital and also into the Newcastle CBD.

Location makes access to community services very easy – Public Library at Wallsend, Wallsend Bowling Club, Wallsend RSL, medical and pathology services and a myriad of churches for all denominations.

Woodlands Village is snugly nestled off Lake Road Wallsend – which whilst being a main road, does not disturb the idyllic country village atmosphere that is associated with this complex. There are a myriad of pathways throughout the village to allow residents to have a quiet stroll and enjoy the landscaped grounds and the tranquility of our village

There are two distinct styles of unit available at Woodlands.

We have a large communal activity area available within historic Woodlands House – located in the centre of the village. There is a large function room that is used for meetings, social gatherings and private functions for residents and their families. Our residents enjoy indoor bowls, darts, pool/snooker and many other activities.

We have a swimming pool located directly across from Woodlands House which is available for use to residents and their families and is a firm favorite during the summer months.

We are able to provide a home cooked, two course lunch to our residents on a daily basis here at Woodlands.

There are wonderful views into bush land and up towards the Hunter Valley.
