Buena Vista Opportunity Shop

The opportunity shop in Orange has operated since December 1960, firstly in rented shops until such time as the current shop was purchased.

The shop offers good reasonably priced clothing as well as household items, linen and nic-nacs. In the early years the shop was an important source of income for the Buena Vista Boys Home. Currently the income from the shop helps support the Orange Family Support Service which offers assistance to dysfunctional families with young children.
