Eastern Riverina Chronicle 31 Aug, 2011 08:26 AM
Greater Hume Shire Council (GHSC) has announced that the United Protestant Association (UPA) of NSW is to be the preferred proponent for the purchase of the Holbrook Village Hostel and Jindera Aged Services (Hostel).
There was interest from four organisations, RSL Life Care, The Forest Centre, Uniting Care Ageing and UPA who all submitted expressions of interest in the facilities.
GHSC General Manager Steven Pinnuck said “UPA had clearly demonstrated through the formal expression of interest process and meetings held with UPA’s senior management team and Council’s Aged Services Steering Committee that they have the ability to provide a very high level of care to our residents, have a strong management team and a focus on community participation”.
The United Protestant Association operates facilities within southern New South Wales in Albury, Henty, Howlong and Wagga Wagga.
