Our policy is to place children and young people in situations that best suit their individual needs. These placements may include foster care families, accommodation with live-in carers, community based care and indnependent supported living arrangements.
Children and young people are referred to Youth Care UPA by the local Community Services. They are usually assessed as needing medium-to-long-term care with high intensity support and supervision. Placements are usually determined by the location and availability of carers who are able to meet identified needs at that time. Youth Care UPA's services is growing and currently offering support to 20 young people in need of care.
Youth Care UPA is part of the North Coast Region of the United Protestant Association and can be contacted on the following email: youthcare@upanthcoast.org or go to www.youthcareupa.org.au for further information.
